What we do

The main purposes of UWC Namibia are to select suitable representatives from Namibia to attend United World Colleges around the world, support those students during their time at UWC, and engage with the UWC community from around the world who are in Namibia, or the Namibian community around the world.

We work to raise awareness of United World Colleges in Namibia and ensure wider representation of applicants from different economic and cultural backgrounds, in order to more fairly represent the wide spectrum of Namibians at the various UWCs.

We also act as a link for UWC graduates of any nationality living in Namibia. We are a connecting point for anybody in the UWC community wishing to get involved in UWC-related activities, as well as graduates searching for local contacts in Namibia.

Members of the National Committee are volunteers and are not paid for their work.  We always welcome new members and volunteers, so please contact us if you would like to get involved at:
